The 2025 Health First Florida Space Coast NHL Alumni Pro/Am for Homelessness and Breast Cancer is scheduled for February 21/22, 2025 in Melbourne Florida. The event will feature 4 Teams with 12 NHL Alumni, and possibly a special guest or 2. Each team will play 3 games at The Space Coast Iceplex. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Genesis House of Florida and the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition.

Brad May

Brad played over 1,100 NHL games with the Sabres, Canucks, Coyotes, Red Wings, Avalanche, Maple Leafs, and Ducks, where he won a Stanley Cup in 2007. Brad May was also the source of one of the NHL’s best all time goal calls from the late Rick Jeanneret during the 1993 Stanley Cup Playoffs. May scored a goal against the Bruins in overtime and prompted the call “May Day, May Day…” If you are from Buffalo, you remember.

Ric Seiling

Ric played 800 NHL games with the Sabres and Red Wings. Ric also won the Memorial Cup with the St. Catherines Fincups.

Dennis Maruk

Dennis

Dennis played 922 NHL games with the Seals, Barrons, North Stars and Capitals. While with the Capitals, Dennis had 50 and 60 Goal seasons. Dennis holds the Capitals single season scoring record with 136 points in 1982. 

Bryan Muir

 

Bryan Muir played over 300 NHL games for the Oilers, New Jersey Devils, Chicago Blackhawks, Tampa Bay Lightning, Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings and the Washington Capitals. in 2001 he won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche.

Grant Marshall

Grant played 790 NHL games with the Stars, Blue Jackets, and Devils. He won Stanley Cups with the Stars and Devils.

Stephane Matteau

Stephane.

Stephane played 957 NHL games with the Flames, Blackhawks, Rangers, Blues, Sharks, and Panthers. Stephane scored the double overtime goal in 1994 that sent the Rangers to the Stanley Cup Finals. 

Mike Krushelnyski

 

An NHL All Star that played over 1,000 NHL games for the Bruins, Oilers, Maple Leafs, Kings and Red Wings. While with the Oilers, Mike played on a line with Gretzky and Kurri, and won 3 Stanley Cups. Little known fact, Mike won a 4th Stanley Cup as an Assistant Coach with the Red Wings.

Stu Grimson

 

Stu played over 770 NHL games with the Flames, Blackhawks, Ducks, Red Wings, Predators, Kings, Whalers, and Hurricanes. He was known as the “Grim Reaper” and can regularly be seen as an analyst on the NHL Network.

Brian Propp

 

Brian is a 5 time NHL All Star that played 1,176 games with the Whalers, Flyers, North Stars, and Flyers. Brian was known for the “Guffaw” after he scored a goal, which he adopted from Howie Mandel.

Steve Oleksy

Steve played with the Capitals and Penguins, winning a Cup in 2018. Steve also played a few seasons with the Hershey Bears..

Darryl Shannon

Darryl played 573 games in the NHL for the Jets, Sabres, Maple Leafs, Thrashers, Flames, and Canadiens.

Jason played 388 NHL games with the Sabres, Rangers, Canadiens, and Islanders.
